Alexander was the third son of James(2) Hopkirk and Jane Emslie
Alexander(3) was born in 1878, and married Margaret CAMERON in 1902.
The only known child so far is:
James(4) HOPKIRK, born in 1904, married Williamina MORRISON in 1930.
