James "Jimmach" HOPKIRK was the eldest child of James HOPKIRK and Mary TAYLOR
James was born 11 July 1872 in Ayr. On January 26, 1900 he married Allison Muir in Paisley
James and Allison had at least 5 children, one of whom is still living. Descendants of this family still live in Largs.
