Russell Robert CALDWELL was the son of Robert William CALDWELL and Fern(?) SCOTHORN

Russell Robert CALDWELL was born on 10 January 1925 in Alameda County, California

Family history says Robert William CALDWELL and his second wife Mary(Russell's stepmother) had custody of Robert's son Russell in the early 1930's. Russell's birth mother came to visit and to take him to a local park, but she kidnapped Russell and Robert William Caldwell never saw his son again. During WWII Russell came to visit.

Russell enlisted in the US Navy on 8 May 1943 in Seattle, Washington. His service number was 890-24-86. As of December 21, 1943 he was on the USS Tulagi from at least 21 December 1943 through 30 April 1946.

Russell had some children, and they may be living in Oregon.

Russell passed away on 6 July 2007 in San Luis Obispo, California.
