William Martin HOBKIRK was the sixth child of John R. HOBKIRK & Mary E. MARTIN.
William loved to sing and write songs. His sister Mina would play the paino for him at performances, until Mina married.
William married Margaret SHIRER in 1896. Tina Riddell is in possession of an engraved tray commemorating their marriage.
William Martin HOBKIRK died prior to 1950 and Margaret SHIRER was living in Edinburgh when she died in the 1950's.
It is believed that William and Margaret had no children, since the bulk of Margaret's estate went to a dog and cat home upon her death.
